We're Poly with Indochino
Ok, maybe we’re not at that point in our relationship, but we did a little Black Friday shopping (on Sunday) for some wedding suits. At this point, as you know, we’ve been feeling a bit defeated by the suit industry. Cut to us walking into the Beverly Hills showroom of Indochino and being reborn as two wedding suit aficionado angel babies.
If you don’t know Indochino (we didn’t either) they do made to order suits. First you create a profile with your measurements. If you're shopping online, you can go to a tailor for these or do it at home. You then pick a fabric and customize EVERYthing. From lapel style, functional buttons, linings, belt loops - you're in total control. If you live near a showroom, the experience is worth it because you have this all happening while you're there. They'll take some photos and have you try on some close fitting samples to further adjust until the fit is perfect. Plus you feel fancy having a custom suit made.
We had a chance to look at every fabric option they offered, draping each over our shoulder like we were wearing little wedding togas. Wedding togas should be a thing.
BTW we’re legit not being sponsored by Indochino. It was just an amazing experience. Howwwever, if they're reading this and want to give us a discount.....
When we finally made a decision about our fabrics we got to start all of the fun customizations we mentioned above.
Nothing was a mystery during our entire shopping experience. Every step was explained and our weird questions answered. There were also no hidden costs. It was amazing! Now – We wait 4 weeks for our suits to be made and shipped to us!
Here’s a pic, obviously of us and not photoshopped, wearing our new wedding suits.
