But how do you find a good thrift store? Honestly, it's going to take some time. The best recommendation we can offer is try and get out of your neighborhood. Thrift stores are always going to be a reflection of the community they're in. You want to let your imagination run wild when you're giving old clothes new life and you'll do way better browsing through clothes you've never seen before (although we're sure the Johnsons next doors had great taste in the 80's).
