Franklin Canyon Ya'll

Nestled above Beverly Hills, we found a short lil hike in Franklin Canyon Park. We're a little lazy when it comes to hiking, so we haven't quite graduated to miles and miles + of trails and we certainly have no such things as hiking boots or walking sticks. Call us frivolous with our lives, but nothing we're doing here is that crazy.

It worked well for us to park at 1936 Lake Drive and walk up to the trail head. There is an opening a little south but it's a bit of a steeper incline. We're here for the stroll really.

So if you're up for a short diddy. Here's what we did in about 30 minutes.

You can park in the lot and walk up the road to Hastain Drive. If you keep veering right you'll pop straight up to the peak. There we recommend snapping your instagram photos and turning around... because we all know we forgot sunscreen, extra water, and basically anything else you'd need to survive in the wilderness. Please remember to bring water. Don't be dumb like us or you'll end up having to carry your dog the entire way.
