Did You Get An STD??

The other day, we walked into our favorite lil card shop in Venice and started asking about wedding invitations and STD’s. No… while we’re passionate about advocating for sex-ed we don’t usually go up to strangers with our opinions about venereal diseases.

Anyways, getting back on track. We needed Save The Date Cards!

We mentioned we were on a budget and really didn’t want to spend a lot of moolah. A phrase of course, which made them visibly squirm with just a hint of annoyance.

“Well, if you’re on a budget, a wedding invite alone should probably be around $1,000 to start”

Cue to us, fainting while laughing uncomfortably. We left.

In the end we used Minted to ‘mint’ our Save the Date cards. We wanted something extremely simple but that would catch your eye. We also wanted to cut any unnecessary info and keep it 100% pertinent. Instead of taking up character space on paper, we made an expansive website that even includes a what to do in Los Angeles interactive map! (we’re computer nerds)

Also, Obviously that is not our actual save the date - Though we wish we were rich and could get married in Cabo San Lucas like it was NBD!

We used one side of the card for info and the other was blank. Specifically so people could leave it on the fridge and not miss info because they forgot about the back.
