Tasting Some Crafty Cocktails
Words out! We booked Cali Craft Cocktails for our wedding in March and we couldn’t’ be more thrilled to have them serving for the big day! We just finished a tasting with them and we’re even more excited than we were before. Can it be March 10 already?
To save a bit of money, we opted to use heavy duty clear plastic cups. They’re actually quite nice and look beautiful with the drinks inside them. We know it’s probably a faux pas in the wedding world… but who cares yo! These drinks taste out of this world – no one will notice and no one will care!
Here’s the menu we chose:
Medicina Latina: Tequila, mescal, lime juice, honey, ginger
Our Lady: Tequila, Campari, lime juice, firewater bitters
Moscow Mule: vodka, lime juice, ginger, angostura bitters (they use real ginger)
Gordon’s Cup: gin, lime juice, cucumber, salt & pepper
The Our Lady was a contentious choice – we were a bit at war about it. Corey preferred the sharp bitter notes of the Campari while Cristian preferred something subtle, like a Mojito. Ultimately… the Our Lady won.
Why did we choose Cali Craft Cocktails?
Well first, they don’t upcharge for weddings! It’s a flat rate, per person, and there aren’t hidden fees! Second, nothing is premade – they’re a full service bar and everything is made scratch. If they pre-make bitters, it’s house made! Third, They’re amazing people! Sarah was so quick to respond and to to be honest, we’re shocked they were available for our wedding date (as they’re booked pretty much every single day!! Sometimes 2 events in a day!)
Oh, did we mention they provide all the things they need? Like… a bar, and little cute lights, and decorations for the bar? They take full service to the next level. Truly.
