5 Tips for Designing With Your Lover

Relationships can have their ups and downs. We know after 8 years of living, traveling, breathing, existing together that they involve a lot of different commitments to keep everything progressing forward. Now we ain't no relationship experts, so we won't be touting that sort of advice. However, we do feel that often times there is one thing that people don't talk about that often. Moving in with someone.

We're Poly with Indochino

Ok, maybe we’re not at that point in our relationship, but we did a little Black Friday shopping (on Sunday) for some wedding suits. At this point, as you know, we’ve been feeling a bit defeated by the suit industry. Cut to us walking into the Beverly Hills showroom of Indochino  and being reborn as two wedding suit aficionado angel babies.

Green Is Definitely Not Our Color

Well – that’s half true. We love green and actually it’s Cristian’s favorite color.

What didn’t work out so much for us though was using green in anything beyond plants at our wedding. Hold that – maybe this is a blessing in disguise – a March wedding, with a lot of green? Idk - See us below*

Guys With Thighs

People come in all shapes and sizes. And in the case of this particular person, that means disproportionately large thighs. Corey's not going to be involved in this post becuase he doesn't get stuck in pants before they pass the knee in the fitting room. I swear, if I stop working out and gain a few pounds, guess where they go first, my thighs. Or let's say I start working out a ton, first place I see huge muscle growth? My calves and thighs. C'mon, I'm even skipping leg day!!

Lewk Essentials You Keep Forgetting

No, not white tennis shoes, v-neck solids, or a bomber. We're talking about where you shop. While so many clothing brands are killing it at making old fashion new again, we think it's vital to have your own sanctuary to do the same. Yep, we're talking thrift.

Ok, Getting A Little DIY Crazed

Well.... Now we need a bench for the patio. Don't laugh at us... because we really do need it.

We have a plan though - DIY BUILD!

We're feeling freaky fresh after our coffee table build and now we want to make a super cool bench. Hop in the car because we're going to buy wood! Schematics wise, there's not to much sketched out. We know the dimensions and have a general vision.

Need: Coffee Table. Money: Zero

We're sensing a recurring theme in our lives. We need something, but we don't want to spend a single dollar on it. Why does this happen? Is it because we're cheap? Nah.. well kind of... More so, we think it's PTSD from living in NYC where we spend 5 years tossing money left and right. If you love love love seeing money disappear, move to Manhattan.

Not sure if you remember our empty corner of our kitchen but we've been staring at it for a couple months and hate it. So...naturally being the busy beavers we are... we're sprucing it up a bit! We have some guests staying with us in the next couple weeks so we thought... "what to we need right now," and it was a unanimous COFFEE NOOK response. Ok, we weren't calling a coffee nook until right now, but now that it's done we've decided that is exactly what it is.

WE NEED A DRESSER

We've been in Los Angeles for a month and we're already acting like we're running out of space for our things. Ok, but in seriousness, we kind of are. Plus our room has been feeling a little barren without a dresser in which to put things. Side note: neither of us have had a dresser since high school but nevertheless we digress - we need one now.
