If you follow us on Instagram, you’ve probably noticed that we are always out and about!

We travel a lot! It’s something that we have always loved to do as a couple! Corey is usually all about discovering the local foodie hot spots where as Cristian is all about scouting out the next museum or ancient ruin to wander through. To us, travel really is an amazing source of inspiration. It’s the excitement of immersing yourself fulling in another culture or environment or the thrill of creating a one of a kind memory with the ones you love.

That said, if you’ve ever traveled far from home, then you’ll know the dread that comes with realizing you’re miles away from your medicine cabinet and your skin regimen isn’t working. It can be the change of climate, lack of sleep, pollution, dehydration, you name it - your skin suffers! BUT WAIT! It doesn’t have to be like that.

We’re excited to partner with Olay and introduce you to, if you haven’t seen it out and about, their Red Jar products. It has been around for years and we are frankly shocked it’s never found its way into our medicine cabinets or our suitcases.

It can be so hard to find the right balance for your skin, especially when you’re in a new environment. Cristian’s skin is combination/oily so he needs a product with more of a matte finish that can hydrate while protecting from pollution. Corey’s skin is on the normal side but can dry out while traveling so products with a dewy finish work much better for him. To figure out which product we should be using, we took the Olay SkinAdvisor quiz and have been so excited to use the products that matched with our skin types. This year we both turned 30 (!) and FYI if you’re not aware… 30 is when your skin naturally slows down collagen production. Cristian’s quiz results matched him with the Regenerist Whip Face Moisturizer and Corey’s matched him with the Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream. Both have an amino-peptide complex which helps improve elasticity of the skin and overall surface texture. Fun Fact: One jar contains as much vitamin B3 as 2,500 cups of kale! That vitamin B3, or Niacinamide for you science fanatics, has been shown to assist in the regeneration of skin cells as well as strengthen the skin’s natural barrier.

Our Olay Red Jars travel so well. They fit right in our carry-on bags in case we need a mid-flight hydration boost. Because they’re so transportable, we can take them everywhere with us reducing any weird changes in our skincare routine on the go. We really think consistency is everything when it comes to your skincare regimen. We’ve both tried the 14 step regimens, expensive serums and creams, and we really think there’s a simpler way! For us, we cleanse with our preferred cleanser and moisturize with Olay’s Red Jar.

No more, no less. It’s our new thing. Nothing else compares. We have a new go-to product and we’re excited!
